Assist new parents with their faith formation while raising their children. Volunteers are needed to facilitate break out sessions. Our priests and deacons usually baptize four children at the same ceremony. They need an extra pair of hands to assist in preparing the worship space and baptism symbols, greeting and seating families and helping to navigate families through the Baptism ceremony.
During the 9:00 and 11:00 Sunday Mass children, ages 4-9, are invited to hear the Sunday readings at their level of understanding. They do art projects related to the reading or play a game. They are brought back to the church after the homily. Teachers in this program commit to teaching twice a month.
