Mrs. Kutkowski

Hi! My name is Ilona Kutkowski. I am one of the third grade teachers at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic School.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in ESL from Northeastern University. Prior to coming to St. John’s, I was a reading interventionist and 4th grade math teacher in the most at risk school in District U-46. My role as an interventionist, was to provide students (grades k-6) literacy support and determine the appropriate intervention for each child.

I was born and raised in Chicago. My husband and I got married in October 2015 and bought a house in Streamwood. We have a Samoyed named Shay! You will definitely see us around!

I am excited to meet all the students and families! I am so grateful to be a part of St. John’s family and I look forward to a wonderful year!
