Welcome

We are now entering the Liturgical Season of Lent. This year, Ash Wednesday occurs on Feb. 22. The term “Lent” comes from the Latin word  that means Spring or rebirth.  During this season we embrace the acts of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.  Through these practices we 'die' to earthly acts so that we can celebrate the new life of Jesus' Resurrection at Easter.
