PE Mrs. Gallione

Our Class at a Glance (Mrs. Gallione)

Please remember in these cold weather days that all 4th-8th grade students will be walking to Park Place. Have your children dress warmly!

My goal for your children is to enrich their lives with physical activity and song! I try to expose my students to as many sports as possible while educating them about the importance of lifelong physical fitness. On the flipside, my goal in music is to teach children how to “pray” with their voices and to expose them to the enjoyment of music and musical theater.

Physical Education

This is far more than just “Gym Class”. Physical Education classes help to develop motor skills and coordination, elevate a student’s fitness level, and establishing a basic understanding of athletics. My goal for my students is to make fitness and overall wellness an importance aspect of their lives. Students will have Physical Education class twice a week at St.John’s. During the periods of warm weather the class will take place on the upper athletic field behind the parking lot. In days of inclement weather, class will take place in the Parish Center or at Park Place Recreation Center. Parents, we ask that you please remember to have your child dressed properly on Physical Education days.
