Our Class at a Glance (Mrs. Kunstman)
Welcome to Kindergarten!
Hello! I am Mrs. Kunstman. This is my 6th year teaching here at St. John the Evangelist. I love being a part of the St. John the Evangelist community! I received my Bachelors Degree in Education from National-Louis University. I then taught third grade for two years. Before coming to St. John the Evangelist I taught preschool for 7 years in Carol Stream.
I have to say with all my heart that I LOVE teaching Kindergarten! There is nothing more exciting than watching those moments when my students are so proud to have learned something new. I cannot get enough of their daily smiles, and the hugs! I deeply enjoy watching my Kindergarten students grow not only in their academics but in their friendships and their Faith. I strive to make our classroom a family. That extends to parents as well!
I live in St. Charles with my husband Jeff and two children Briana and Brennan. As a family we love to go camping, enjoy water parks, and taking our two dachshunds Coco and Mac for walks.
I am truly blessed to be a part of such a great school. I look forward to an amazing year. Please feel free to contact me anytime you have questions or concerns at email@example.com.
What is Kindergarten all about?
In Kindergarten, we are learning so many things! Our days are filled with Religion, Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, Computers, Spanish, and Gym! Thankfully, with all of those things, we do have a small amount of quiet time to un-wind. 😉 Our days are filled with so much more. We are learning to be good friends, treat each other with respect, make the best out of every situation, use kind words and good manners, We help one another whenever we can… and most importantly we are learning how to be Saints! Our classroom is dedicated to loving one another with God’s love, through the guidance and gentle care of our beautiful Mama Mary. We approach each day excited for school, and leave with a smile and a hug. 🙂
Doesn’t Kindergarten sound like a wonderful place to be?
